99.9 % Uptime Guarantee
If your site isn’t available 99.9% of the time within a given month, we will give you a pro-rated credit for the time.
We want to ensure that you have total satisfaction when it comes to your hosting company.
While server issues are rarely resulting in downtime, we will be foolish to not admit that short lapses in service can happen.
That’s exactly why we created this 99.9% Uptime Guarantee.
We believe in our network and stand behind it’s reliability by offering you this prorated credit system for any downtime outside of our guaranteed window.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: This guarantee is only applicable for unscheduled outages. Occasional planned server/network maintenance may be necessary. In all but the most urgent cases, we will send out an email notifying customer of maintenance that is to be performed. When notice is sent at least two hours prior to service interruption, the outage does not qualify for our uptime guarantee.
Service Credit calculations;
- 0 minutes-45 min downtime per month (100% – 99.9% up-time) = No credit
- 45 minutes-3h30 min downtime per month (99.9% – 99.5% up-time) = 5% credit
- 3h30 min-7h15 min downtime per month (99.5% – 99% up-time) = 8% credit
- 7h15 min – 14h30 min downtime per month (99% – 98% up-time) = 15% credit
- 14h30 min – 1.5 days downtime per month (98% – 95% up-time) = 20% credit
- Greater than 1.5 days downtime per month (less than 95% up-time) = 50% credit
Please Note: These Service credits issued for downtime are issued in the form of credits to your account, and will be automatically applied to future invoices. NO CASH REFUNDS will be issued as a result of downtime. The Site availability guarantee does not include downtime that is out of Oculon’s control, including but not limited to: upstream network outages, internet backbone congestion, outages caused by acts of god, and facility power failures. Your account also needs to be in good standing & not in violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use policies. All credits MUST be requested within 72 hours of downtime.
24/6 Support Response Guarantee
Oculon supplies support 5 days a week. All support tickets will be answered within 24 hours, If you don’t hear back from a team member within 24 hours, we will credit your account.
Support requests should be submitted through our specified support channels. These submitted issues is guaranteed to receive a response within 24 hours. This does not mean that our average response takes 24 hours (it is, on average, usually within minutes.)
If a response is not given within 24 hours, a R5 credit can be requested (per ticket).
Please Note: That the total credits in a given month may not exceed 100% of the hosting fees for a customer. Support response guarantee is merely a response from a human (non-automated response) and does not guarantee a resolution within 24 hours. This also does not include billing, sales, and abuse emails.
